From a Family Workshop into a Leading Provider
The story of Aharon Yosef begins in 1958 with a small family company that turned into a leading provider of a wide range of metal manufacturing services to both local and international customers.
The company was founded by Yosef Meir Aharon, a Holocaust survivor who immigrated as a teenager to Israel from Hungary at the end of World War II after many hardships. Utilizing the experience, he gained as a tinsmith in the ghetto and labor camp, he decided to open a workshop in a small warehouse in Jaffa together with his brother Shemuel.
Aharon Yosef worked in metalwork, frames, iron boxes and tin, using manual machines such as guillotine cutting, presses, manual welding and more.
From manual machines to modern equipment
The company entered a fast expansion process in the 80’s when Yosef’s sons David and Reuven joined the company and started purchasing new equipment and pioneered the field of precise metal manufacturing.
In the early 1990s Aharon Yosef was one of the first companies in Israel to introduce laser cutting machines. This enabled the company to perform more accurate work, to reach high production yields and speedup growth.
The prosperous company invested in advanced automatic mechanization: punch machine with automatic head, welding robot, large bending machines and precise machining machines.
World class manufacturing facility
Towards the year 2000, with the entrance of the third generation of the family, the company moved from the new industrial zone of Rishon LeZion to a large plant covering 7,000 dunams in Gan Yavneh. The company owns 18,000 sqm. world class manufacturing smart facility, offering state-of-the-art sheet metal fabrication, machining, electro- mechanical, mechanical assembly and finishing services to customers all over the world.
The company still runs as a family operation adhering to the values of Yosef Meir of hard work, simplicity, honesty and transparency. We believe in respect for all workers, vendors, partners and customers and proudly continuing the family’s legacy.
